Hello,

As my second little boy has turned 18 months old and is get into toddlerhood, I've been considering switching from unscented shampoo and body cleanser to products with fragrance.

After careful consideration, I chose Paul Medison kids ato shampoo.
During a sale on Coupang, I bought a large-sized bottle exceeding 1 liter (1000ml).
While I previously bought a different brand for first child, my daughter. I decided on a baby powder scent for my younger one, considering his age. (it is so adorable)

I'll now provide a review of this product, which I purchased with my own money!

Paul Medison Bath & Shampoo Ingredients

Just as there's a saying that "a child is not a small adult," even if the same ingredients are used, the perception of those ingredients can affect greatly between adults and children.

That's why I always make sure to check the ingredients on the back when looking at children's products.

After washing, it's important that any dirt, sweat, or impurities from outside are thoroughly cleansed without causing dryness or skin trouble.
Especially, if the skin barrier can be compromised by overly stripping it with a product that promises a squeaky-clean feeling, it's essential to check if it's specifically formulated for children.

This body wash seems to be focused on minimizing skin irritation and prioritizing moisturization, as indicated by the inclusion of "ATO" in its name.

The packaging of Paul Medison Kids Bath & Shampoo may not explicitly state it, but with a pH of 5.58, it's considered mildly acidic, which can help protect the skin barrier of neutral-skinned children.

Some notable ingredients caught my attention, and I looked into them:

① Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate / Coco Glucoside / Cocamidopropyl Betaine
: Natural surfactants derived from coconuts, known for being gentle, safe, and environmentally friendly.

② Ceramide NP
: Strengthens the skin's lipid barrier, forms a protective layer, and increases moisturization.

③ Inca Peanut Seed Oil
: Contains Omega-3 for skin barrier protection, Omega-6 for soothing skin inflammation, Vitamin E, and antioxidants.

④ Green Tea Extract
: Anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant effects, inhibits melanin production, and provides skin protection.

⑤ Centella Asiatica Extract (Madecassoside)
: Used in wound-healing products, aids in skin regeneration, as indicated by its use in skincare products developed by companies specializing in madecassoside production.

Additionally, there are many natural ingredients extracted from nature, such as Hedera Helix Root Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract.

▶ User Review
At first, I was surprised by how watery the product felt when I squeezed it onto my hand. I remember thinking, "Why is it so runny?" However, after doing some research on the product, I discovered that children's products are intentionally formulated with a more watery consistency to minimize irritation to the skin.
Upon reflection, I realized that a higher viscosity would mean the ingredients are more concentrated. For children, having a watery consistency can be advantageous in minimizing irritation.
Furthermore, the scent I initially considered, baby powder, turned out to be quite satisfying. After bathing my child, the distinct aroma of baby powder leaves them feeling even more comfortable and content.
Considering its generous size for the price, this product can last a long time. Moreover, it's suitable for the whole family, from my second child, who is just past infancy, to my first child, who has reached the age of 5.
If you're still undecided, I highly recommend this product as it's one that I've personally purchased and am satisfied with.
That concludes my user review, based on my own experience and investment!
